Homework Policy
Mrs. Tobin’s Homework Policy
Each school day, students will come home with 1-2 sheets of homework in their take-home folder to complete that night. It is my expectation that students will return their homework to me the next day. Students will not be given homework on Fridays or the night before a long weekend. The homework assignments will be directly related to what is being taught in the classroom that week. It will reinforce the lessons and activities done at school.These nightly worksheets are in addition to a nightly reading log, and weekly “Quick Reads” homework.
I expect that students may need assistance from adults at home. Please do not do the work for them, but offer as much help as necessary. As the year progresses, I believe that the students will become more independent in completing their homework assignments. As always, thank you for your continuing support.
